A Delhi woman had complained to Uber against the behaviour of their now rape-accused driver Shiv Kumar Yadav 10 days before Yadav raped a passenger on December 6.
The woman tweeted on Tuesday that she had taken Yadav's taxi on November 26 and had complained about him to UberSupport. The twitter user was anguished that if Uber had acted against Yadav, the crime would not have occurred.
In their response to the complaint, an UberSupport email on December 2, signed Hannah, said, "Sorry about what happened here! That's definitely not what I'd expect out of an Uber trip. I have passed along your feedback to our driver operations team, so that they can check in on Shiv about it."
The woman, who complained against Yadav, also tweeted the receipt she got for her cab ride in which the fare as well Yadav's picture is visible.
