Cowboys defense. Seattle was held to 5 of 13 conversions on third down and nine first downs as the Dallas unit played ultra physical and had nine passes defensed. Rolando McClain had one interception. Justin Durant had nine tackles.
Cowboys backs DeMarco Murray, Lance Dunbar and Joseph Randle. Murray tied Jim Brown’s NFL mark with his sixth consecutive 100-yard game to start a season. He had 115 yards and one touchdown. Dunbar caught four passes for 48 yards and three third-down conversions. Randle had five carries for 52 yards.
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, kicker Dan Bailey, receiver Terrance Williams. Romo finished the game with a 110.2 passer rating and extended plays with his mobility. Bailey made three field goals, including a career-long 56 yarder. Williams had two critical catches for 70 yards, including a toe-dragging 23-yarder on the game-winning drive.
Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka. He kept Seattle in contention with field goals of 33, 33 and 48 yards.
