Carlos Alberto García López , historical guitarist Charly García, died this morning after suffering a car accident in the province of Buenos Aires. The 54 year old musician was returning to Buenos Aires after recording a video with Almafuerte in Sierra de la Ventana, near Bahia Blanca.
As reported TN, the artist drove the vehicle that hit a truck head-on at mile 240, off Route 76 Tornquist. Besides Lopez, traveled Octavio Guzman, Federico Alcorta, and Hector Raggio. The first was killed and two others are hospitalized.
Better known as The Black García López, the artist was born on November 9, 1959, joined the early 80 La Torre, then was part of the side of Miguel Mateos who recordedAlone in America and later to the formation joined Charly García, with whom he worked for 10 years, including discs that participated is Philosophy and cheap sneakers .
