Wear a red dress with a twist in Amal's moody bloom maxi
She’s allegedly wearing Alexander McQueen for her upcoming nuptials to George Clooney, so it looks as though Amal Alamuddin is getting some much needed practice in before then.
The stunning brunette has upped her game in the style stakes ever since becoming engaged to the Hollywood heartthrob, and looked sensational in a Resort 2011 red printed Alexander McQueen dress that had been slightly altered to her preferences.
Showcasing her super svelte pins with the dress’ asymmetric hemline, Amal further glammed up the vivacious frock with a pair of drop diamond earrings and a slick of red lipstick, looking every inch the princess George is making her feel.
And although we can’t get our hands on the seasonal transitional number that can be worn right throughout the year with ease and a switch up of accessories, we can find a few good lookalikes that do just the trick in recreating the same vibe. Take Little Mistress’ moody bloom printed maxi below for £72 which we’d style with black patent stilettos and a metallic clutch bag for a wintery evening out. She’s allegedly wearing Alexander McQueen for her upcoming nuptials to George Clooney, so it looks as though Amal Alamuddin is getting some much needed practice in before then.

The Oscar-winning actor led his best man Rande Gerber - husband of Cindy Crawford - onto a speedboat along with his long-time producing partner Grant Heslov and a number of suited gents all enjoying what looked like some fine liquor.
Amal was given a helping hand down to her speedboat, and she was joined by her mother Baria, sister Tala and a number of other female members of her family and friends.
Before the boats left it looked like George was offering his soon-to-be wife a drink for the journey, as he was pointing at his glass as he spoke to her from her across the Venetian canal.
They also posed for photos for a specially hired photographer who will be capturing every moment of their wedding weekend, not just for the happy couple, but also US Vogue who have bought the exclusive rights to the pictures on the day.
A fierce bidding war broke out among the world's biggest celebrity publications, all desperate to capture the moment that Oscar-winner Clooney says 'I do for the second time in his romantic history.
Back in 1989, George married actress Talia Balsam in a wedding officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator in Las Vegas. No doubt this time around, the nuptials will be a far more stylish affair, as it is understood US Vogue secured the rights after bidding well in excess of £1 million.
However, there are said to have been further negotiations for a British celebrity magazine to share the rights with a seven-figure offer being made.
Any fee given to the couple will be donated to a charity of their choice. The couple have already requested that guests do not bring mobile phones in a bid to prevent unauthorised pictures being leaked from the event.
Securing the rights seems to be why the US Vogue editor Anna Wintour has been invited to the wedding, and she seemed to be getting on the same boat as Hollywood star Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso.
Luciana stunned in a floral dress featuring a keyhole neckline and an empire waist, while Matt wore a three-piece suit with a black shirt. Flower prints seemed to be popular that evening as Ms Wintour also wore a floral print dress with a blue base colour under a red jacket with a fur collar.
Hollywood royalty Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are also expected to attend the high profile ceremony this weekend. George's actor cousin Miguel Ferrer, son of screen and singing legend Rosemary Clooney, was seen arriving with his wife Lori Weintraub on Friday, as was his Ocean's Thirteen co-star Ellen Barkin.
On Saturday, the couple host a star-studded reception in the city's seven-star Aman Hotel on the Grande Canal, an occasion that Amal's parents reportedly insisting on paying for.
Security at both venues was being stepped up on Friday with staff at the Cipriani Hotel, once a favourite of Princess Diana, said to have been asked to sign strict confidentiality contracts before being issued with microchip passes to allow them access to and from the building.
Clooney and his British fiancée, 36, will finally tie the knot in a civil ceremony in the palatial 14th century Ca' Farsetti palazzo on Monday. The building houses Venice's town hall.
Look into my eyes: Glowing couple George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin couldn't take their eyes off each other when they sped through Venice, Italy, on Friday on taxi boats to their future wedding location
